The Patriotic Health Sciences Institute of Nursing (PHSION) aims to be center of excellence for producing competent nurse leaders in education, management, community and research.

PHILOSOPHY:

                               At PHSION we believe that

1.  Nursing is a dynamic and creative process,
2. Nursing is encompassing the interaction of the nurses, the client, the family and community.
3. Nurses use theoretical and scientific knowledge for caring human beings and promoting change towards health.
4. Preparation for nursing force requires a broad knowledge based not only in nursing and health sciences but also in the humanities and the natural and social sciences.

The major goals of the PHSION are to

•    Promote the leadership in nursing profession and provide dedicated nurses to the communities.
• Enable the learners to provide holistic care, health education and services to the community.
• Provide quality nursing education with in depth knowledge of medical sciences and nursing skills comparable to international standards.
